Dear readers,
This week I turn the reins over to you, the readers,
as you weigh in on some of your favorite new gizmos,
like a stylish body fat analyzer. ( I don't care how
great it looks in the bathroom, because it's going to
tell me that I don't!) Nevertheless, it's apparently
one of your favorite finds. The floor is yours!
Dear Jan,
I just have to tell you about a great gadget I found
at Ace Hardware. It is called a Zip-It. It is a very
simple, plastic piece that is about 20 inches long.
It inserts into your sink drain (without removing anything)
and it has barbs on both sides that, as you pull this
device out, it pulls out wads of hair that were stuck
there. It costs only $3.49, and it was amazing how easy
it was to pull out all the hair that was clogging my
drain. Every house needs one of these. Their Web site
is www.cobraus.com. It is the most amazing tool; I wish
I had invented it!

Hi, Vicki,
Yes, I bought one a few months ago. It's pretty ingenious.
Now, both our hairdresser and Zip-It know for sure!
