Hardware Chain Selling Zip-It

The Zip-It, a tool that unclogs drains quickly, easily and without the use of toxic chemicals, is now being sold at Lowes, one of the nations largest big-box hardware chains.

Made from durable plastic, the patented Zip-It features barbs along both sides of its 20-inch length. With its slim profile it easily slips into any drain. Simply grasp the handle by the finger hole, insert the Zip-It into the drain, push it all the way in, and pull out the clog. The Zip-It is easy to use, very effective and at only $1.99 so economical it's disposable, eliminating messy clean up.

Most clogs occur in the first vertical section of the drain that houses the stopper mechanism. This slows water flow, eventually causing costly and damaging buildup in pipes. Liquid drain cleaners settle in the trap, leaving most of the clog unaffected. The Zip-It reaches through the entire drain unit, including the stopper mechanism and the trap, cleaning the whole clog. Using the Zip-It for regular maintenance will keep sinks, showers, basins, tubs, and overflow drains clean and flowing freely.
