I have paid $100's of dollars having my drains unclogged by a plumber. I have tried most of the liquid n air pressure uncloggers sold at stores. But, when I bought your product, zip -it, i saved the environment, my money and time. It works so well, even my 9 year old kid can do it. I love it, it's a keeper. I recently had my animal kid tear mine up so I am in the process of locating one in a nearby store to work it's magic. I recently saw a commerial on tv that has an unclogger slimmer but i refuse to buy and try it because it obviously looks like zip it would out do it. I have some thick, coarse hair-ALOT of hair!
So my drains are forever clogged, I devised a bend coat hanger to pull the hair out of the drain (despite using a hair drain filter thing, it still gets in there)
I Googled for a non-chemical alternative for my hairy problems, and there was the Zip-It, fast forward to me returning from Home Depot after a whopping $1.99 investment- I'm pushing this plastic strip down my shower drain and pulled up something that looked like a pomeranian from hell!
WOW!! WOW!!! I am so amazed! I never imagined it would be so fast, inexpensive, safe AND effective!!!

A Handyman's Nightmare
With a new invention now on the market, fixing a clogged drain is never to going to be traumatizing again. Follow these three easy steps to unclog your drain.
1. Go to any big home improvement center, i.e., Menards or Home Depot. Ask the friendly person in plumbing to show you where the Zip-It is; he will take you right to them. Pick a few up and head home.
2. Go to the problem drain and place the Zip-It right down in there and pull back up slowly to avoid possible splashing of debris. Before you can say Zip-It 3 times, your sink will be unclogged.
3. Rinse Zip-It off and put in a plastic bag until the next clog. Make sure you put it way in the back out of sight.
4. Go tell your significant other how you need to go out with the boys now to calm yourself down after the ordeal in the cramped, wet cupboard under the sink is finally over.
5. Gather friends, go out for coffee and cards, laugh and have fun, and tell them your Zip-It story.
6. After the boy's night out is over, when you get home, remind your significant other how much you love him/her.
7. Go kiss your Zip-It.

What a great, wonderful product that works just like it is suppose to. I had a bathtub replaced a couple of years ago and have been fighting clogs with chemicals that just didnot seem to be working. Dear Zip-it people- You saved me so much money. This is a terrific product. It is cheap (around $2), easy to use (even fits into teeny weeny drain openings), natural (chemical-free, which is a real plus when you have pets around) and, best of all, it actually works. Yesterday morning I ended my shower in water up to my ankles. Last night I used Zip-It and although not a lot of gunk came out, it was obviously enough to interfere with the proper drainage of my tub. By this morning, my drain was working as it should.

Your Zip-It is just awesome. I have three daughters that take long showers...and every couple months when the tub drain begins to slow I take my Zip-It from my garage peg-board and clean out the drain.
My wife gets really Grossed-Out with stuff like that...but it doesn't bother me at all. I always retrieve a long CLOG of hair that looks like a dead RAT. I sometimes wad it up in my hand and chase my wife around the house with it...and all the kids laugh.

Zip-It is not only the first, but the only product I've ever found to clean the long-hair-clogged drain in my bathroom sink---without my having to disassemble the drain. Just Zip-it!
I never fail to have a clogged drain at some point. I had one of those clunky
hand-crank drain snakes that would never manuver the
trap. That thing just rusted. Paid good money to plumbers
to clean out a simple clog.
This time my kitchen sink was clogged, so I went to
Home Depot to look for something to do the job. Out
of the corner of my eye I saw this goofy looking plastic
thing for a little over $2. I thought I would take a
chance. It didn't involve chemicals, it wouldn't blow
the pipes off and it looked like it might make it around
the trap. Wow! I was so surprised. It did the job. That
drain was clear in no time.

I bought 2 Zip-Its at a going out of business sale
a long time ago. One , finally, wore out. They have

Okay, first of all your video is GROSS - but that's
exactly what happened the first time I used it. I couldn't
believe the disgusting GUNK I brought up. It was mostly
hair.
I had back surgery a couple of years ago so I can't
plunge. Our plumbing is over 50 years old. I use Zip-It
regularly and I can't believe how well it works. I used
to pour tons of disgusting chemicals down there - now
all I use is Zip-It & a monthly vinegar and baking
soda cleansing.

Home inspection
Our home is on the market and a potential buyer had
a home inspection done. Inspector said one bathtub was
draining slowly and it was indicative that there was
a potential problem with the septic system.
I have had a Zip-It for about 6 months and try to use
it every 6 weeks or so, even though I try to collect
my hair and keep it from going down the drain when taking
a shower. Hubby and I both know that with 4 females
in the house with long hair, the slow drain was most
likely due to a hair clog.
Yep, used it just now and got a big wad of hair out.
Filled the tub up almost to the pull; then counted how
long it took to drain....about 1 min and 45 seconds.
Do you know the average time it takes for a full tub
to drain? Tried to do a search online, but didn't come
up with anything. Thanks for a great and inexpensive
product!!!

I "discovered" Zip-It a couple of years
ago while at my local ACE Hardware... . I had purchased
nearly every type of drain cleaner/snake/blaster/pump
and various liquid cleaners that all failed to solve
issues with hair clogged drains in our house.
Your Zip-It, in a few seconds, did better than any
other product I tried - only one word to describe it
- incredible!!!
BUT, you should charge $49.99 for your product, just
to make people realize how valuable it really is...
. At 5 bucks people (like me) look at this thin piece
of plastic and assume it just COULDN'T WORK.
There are few (no) products that work as well as your
Zip-It, and do exactly what the maker claims it will
do.

Me and my daughter both have long hair and needed
your product desperately. I found it in Virginia Beach,
Va. while visiting my son who was in the Navy. I came
online to find another one because mine is just about
worn out and my daughter has recently gotten married

Dear Zip it,
The drain in our masterbath, was clogged. So I headed
down to our local Wal-Mart to actually purchase a crochet
hook to fit down our drain to remove my wifes long hair
out of the drain. After looking to find a drain cover
for afterwards, I saw your product. I kinda laughed
quietly to myself. I said hey why not. Zip-it I could
not wait to get home to see if this new tool worked.

rack. I looked it over and thought it might work on

Wonderful Product
I can't begin to thank you enough. What a wonderful
product. I was at wits end about to have to break down
and call a plumber for a bathtub clog that refused to

OMG! It really works! I used it on the drain in my kitchen

Zip-It remains the best $2.19 plus tax that I ever
spent. I discovered Zip-It a few years ago and it worked
perfectly to unclog a shower drain. Our shower started
to drain slowly again, but this time I knew just what
to do -- a trip to Home Depot to pick up another Zip-It.
Works like a charm. The only thing I would add is to
warn people to wear gloves and to have a disposal bag
handy.

Zip-It did the trick! Those potentially harmful acids
and chemicals did nothing, and I spent a small fortune
on several bottles. And Zip-It works much better than
a plunger because it'll PULL OUT the blockage, instead
of pushing it further down.
You will probably be amazed at all the grout and hair
it pulls out. Even ifyour drain isn't entirely clogged,
I suggest you use this just so you understand how bad
it can be down there!

It was recommended for pulling the big hairy rat out of
the drain. What a neat idea! After trying Zip-It, I will
never use chemical drain openers again. Since we are on
a septic system, I hated flushing chemicals into my yard.
Whenever I see people in the store looking at drain openers,

and frankly when it came I wasn't impressed. But, I thought
I might as well try it. In less than a minute it pulled
an unbelievably large Hair clog from my drain. It was

Along with clearing my drains, Zip It saved me money today,

My bathroom tub not only had a slow drain; it had
a foul Mildew odor. I poured drain cleaner down the
drain. It didn't help the slow drain or the smell. I
could live with the slow drain but the smell was awful.
While in home depot, my daughter spotted Zip-it. I couldn't
believe what came up. It looked like a dead smelly hairy
rat. This product is WONDERFUL, EASY and WORKS. My bathroom
smells sweet and clean. I bought several more to keep
on hand. I intend to use it once a month to keep my

I used the zip it on the clothes dryer and got out a stringy
clog. It also loosened some of the lint which blew out
the vent. If you have a clothes dryer clog near the vent
screen the zip it may be able to unclog it.

In my situation, I cannot remove the tub's plug and rodding
via the overflow opening didn't do the job. But in two

I have to tell you that your product was super…no
not super, stupendous.
Like many people, taking the bathroom drain system
apart to clean out the stuff that is in there, is a
project you want to avoid. Personally, the adventure
is difficult for due to cervical spine problems. I put
off the drain tear down for a couple of weeks and was
about to call a plumber in to do the job. However, quite
by coincidence I was in Home Depot on an errand and
I saw the Zip It hanging from a rack and it piqued my
interest. I figured for $1.99 it was worth the price
of a test. I was surprised how quickly it did the job.
The drain now flows fully.
As an aside, after cleaning the Zip It before putting
it back in the cardboard sleeve, I used it to scratch
the back of our cat…Guess what, he loved it and
now we have another toy (naturally to be used with care
due to the sharp edges).
I plan to tell my friends about your product –
it works that good.

Just as you said in your "how to unclog..."
I have been standing in merky water while showering
for the past 3 weeks. I know it's probably caused by
my hair. Since I started a new medication, I have additional
hair loss compared to what would normally come out in
the shower. Since I work full time, I am never able
to be home for the super to come in and snake the drain..
so I am off to the hardware store as soon as I get out

I love the Zip It!
My tub had been draining very slow for a few months.
I tried pouring a whole bottle of bleach down the drain
a few times and drano twice, but it was still draining
slow. I surfed the internet one day for ideas on how
to clear the problem before calling a plumber. I stumbled
upon this website and thought I'd give it a try since
it had so many positive comments associated with prior
users. I bought the zip it at the local Walmart for
$2.37. When I got home, I used it and I spent about
10 minutes on the tub. The zip it pulled out a rubber
band, something plastic and lots of hair and soap scum.
My tub is now draining wonderfully. Thank you for inventing

When I saw your item on a j-hook in Wal-mart I ALMOST
DID NOT BUY IT..But I have had a long term problem in
the apartment that I live in, and ave tried lye, drain

I had just about given

Boy, have I been looking for this kind of tool! I have
two teenage girls with long hair and a dog that sheds!
We couldn't get at the clog in our tub with snake augers
because of the old drain style. The old pipes in our
1930 built home were too delicate to try harsh chemicals.
We tried environmantally friendly enzymes which were
supposed to eat the gunk and hair away but they never
worked.
When I stumbled upon your web site I called Home Depot
to see if they carried your product and the woman who
answered the phone knew instantly what I was asking
for. She raved about the Zip It and told me that it
worked so well that she bought them for all of her friends
and her grown children.
I went immediately to the store to the plumbing isle
and asked one of the employees where I could find the
Zip It. He brought me to them right away and told me
that they worked amaizingly. They were so inexpensive
that I bought one for each bathroom and one for my mother!
I cleaned my drain out in about five minutes! The hair
and gunk and shampoo cap that I fished out were disgusting!

I love my Zip-It. In fact, I love it so much, I bought
one for a co-worker. She thought it was a strange gift,
but used it anyway. The next day she couldn't say enough

Christmas was coming up, I decided to give Zip-Its to
each of my brothers, my father, and my neighbor. Just
like my co-worker, they thought it was a strange gift
and they laughed at it. But when one brother finally
got around to trying it out, he got so grossed out by
the glop coming out of his drains that his wife had
to finish the job for him! They didn't think their drains
were that blocked because the water still drained out,
so they were amazed at how much better the water drained

It was awesome. I stuck in down the
kitchen sink drain. Two seconds later I pulled it out.
It was probably the most disgusting thing I have ever

Man, I didn't think that thing
would work at all. But, the other day my daughter's
